Day 01: AIRPORT – COLOMBO

Arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport. or Welcome and assist by representative/s of Vanguard Lanka Tours (Pvt) Limited. p.m. Transfer to Colombo. Stay the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner & Overnight stay at “Fairview Hotel” 4* (Colombo).

Day 02: COLOMBO – KOSGODA – BALAPITIYA – GALLE – WELIGAMA

Breakfast at the hotel. Leave for Kosgoda. Visit a Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda. Kosgoda is famous for its turtle hatcheries. They were established to protect Sri Lanka's turtles from extinction. The hatchery pays fishermen for eggs that they collect at night along the sandy beach. Visitors can see huge tanks filled with new born turtle hatchlings. After being fed, the baby turtles are taken to the sea and released when they are 2-4 days old, usually during the safer hours of darkness. Although October to April is the main laying season, some eggs can be found at Kosgoda throughout the year. Proceed to Balapitiya. Enjoy a River Safari in the Madhu River. River safari by boat fills your senses with a journey abound in splendorous natural beauty and knowledge of ecology which is also an enriching experience of cultural and historical value that will make a lasting mesmeric impression. The wetland of the Madu River holds a mangrove spread of close to 61 hectares. This natural wonder has proven of immense bio-ecological value with 14 out of the 24 varieties of mangroves of Sri Lanka being found in this environment. It was mentioned that there were 64 islands of Madu River in the past. “Maa Duwa” is the main human settlement island among them. Today it is reported that there are 25 Islands of Madu River. Many species of birds are found in the islands around the lagoon. In most of these islands there are people who earn their living by peeling cinnamon. Proceed to Galle. Make a visit to the Old Dutch Fort. A continuous rampart, built by the Dutch from the mid17thcentury onwards and added to by the British, encircles the city, interrupted by 14 massive bastions. Many of the old buildings within the Fort date from the Dutch era. Many of the streets still bear their Dutch names or their direct translations. The Dutch also built an integrate sewer system that was flushed out daily by the tide. There is a large Muslim community living and working inside the Fort, particularly at the southern end of the walled town. Continue journey to Weligama. Dinner & Overnight stay at “Fisherman’s Bay” 3*+ (Weligama).

Day 03: WELIGAMA – MIRISSA – WELIGAMA – BERUWELA

Early breakfast at the hotel. Leave for Mirissa Fisheries Harbour. Travel by boat on a Whale watching expedition. Blue Whales, the largest creature on earth as well as fin whales, sei whales, sperm whales, orcas (killer whales), dolphins, flying fish, turtles, manta rays and whale sharks can all be seen a few miles off the coast. p.m. Return to the hotel. Proceed to Beruwela. Stay at leisure / Enjoy Sun, Sea & Sand. Dinner & Overnight stay at “The Palms” 4* (Beruwela).

Day 04: BERUWELA

Breakfast at the hotel. Stay at leisure Dinner & Overnight stay at “The Palms” 4* (Beruwela).

Day 05: BERUWELA – COLOMBO – AIRPORT

Breakfast at the hotel. Stay at leisure / Enjoy Sun, Sea & Sand. p.m. Leave for Colombo. Enjoy a City Tour of Colombo (the Commercial Capital). Visit the popular Pettah Market. See old colonial buildings in Fort, old Parliament of Sri Lanka (presently the Presidential Secretariat). Also visit the popular Galle Face Green, a Hindu Kovil. See/visit a Buddhist Temple, a Catholic Church and a Muslim Mosque. See the Town Hall, Vihara Mahadevi Park, National Museum, the BMICH and the Buddha Statue nearby with a resemblance to the famous Avukana Buddha. Proceed to the Independence Square where the celebrations were held when Sri Lanka gained independence from the British in 1948. Visit the “Noritake” Showroom where the world famous Ceramic Ware could be purchased. This brand is produced in Sri Lanka under license of Noritake Japan. One of the primary specialties is that the items are much lighter than normal Ceramic Ware. Also visit famous Shopping Mall “ODEL” where internationally acclaimed branded clothing could be purchased for a fraction of their market prices. Proceed to the airport in time for the departure.

Child Policy:

  • Child below 2 years of age will be complimentary.
  • Child above 2 years of age will be considered as an Extra Seat for Transportation & will be charged 50% of the Package Cost.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Prices valid for minimum 06 Pax traveling together in one vehicle excluding driver.
  • 100% payment to be paid before the trip starts.
  • Final confirmation will be provided on full payment.
  • Vessel provided as per mentioned tour plan(Point to Point Basis only).
  • No Refund or Compensation for any unused services/ transportation in any circumstance.

Tour Package Booking Process

  • Tour Requisition Form
    • Guests will be shared with a Tour Package Requisition Form vide WhatsApp.
    • Guests need to fill up the Form and Submit with full information requested.
    • Guests will be confirmed on receipt of the information vide WhatsApp.
  • Quotation Turn Around Time
    • For any Standard Domestic Tour, the Quotation will be shared vide WhatsApp/ Email within 4 Hours.
    • For any Highly Customised Domestic Tour, the Quotation will be shared vide Email within 1 Business Day.
    • For any Standard Domestic Tour, the Quotation will be shared vide WhatsApp/ Email within 4 Hours.
    • For any Highly Customised Domestic Tour, the Quotation will be shared vide Email within 3 Business Days.
  • Quotation Validity
    • Any Domestic Quotation is valid for 7 Days.
    • Any International Quotation is valid for 3 Days.
  • Booking Confirmation
    • Complete/ Partial Booking Confirmation will be shared vide Email.
    • Booking Confirmation Email depends on the Turn Around Time of different Accommodation & Transport Service, so the Standard Booking Confirmation Turn Around Time will be within 2 - 3 Business Days.
    • A Tour Booking Voucher will be shared vide Mail with every Booking Confirmation Mail.
    • The Tour Booking Voucher must be Printed and carried during the Tour.
    • An Original Valid ID Proof of all the Guests in a Group must be carried during the Tour.
    • No PAN Card will be accepted during the Tour.

Methods of Payment

  • Taxation
    • 5% GST will be applied on each & every invoice of the Tour Packages by Bhraman Yatra unless otherwise mentioned due to any specific different compliance.
    • Guest must inform Bhraman Yatra if the invoice needs to be issued against any Company Name with GST before processing the invoice for the Tour Package and share the GST Certificate/ Detail of the Company to create the invoice accordingly.
  • Payment Methods
    • Net Banking is the most convenient and secure method of payment for online transactions and making payment to Bhraman Yatra. Payment can be made through Bank Transfers like NEFT/ IMPS to the below mentioned Current Account of Bhraman Yatra including GST Amount on the Invoice.
    • In case of Payment Urgency, Bhraman Yatra can also accept payments through UPIs, such as Google Pay as they are becoming increasingly popular in India & Overseas.
    • If you wish to make a Cash payment at the Bhraman Yatra office, you can do so by visiting in person and presenting a photocopy of your PAN Card if the amount is greater than INR 49,000 in a single transaction.
  • Information & Acknowledgement before any Payment
    • Prospects & Guests must only pay against Email/ WhatsApp Confirmation sent by Bhraman Yatra [discovery@bhramanyatra.com/ +91] with other necessary Trip Details along with the GST Amount.
    • Bhraman Yatra will be producing a Money Receipt either by Email/ WhatsApp to the Guest within 24 Business Hours. And necessary Booking Confirmation within 48 Business Hours unless otherwise communicated or mentioned.

How to Cancel Your Tour Package/ Accommodation Booking?

  • To cancel a booking with Bhraman Yatra, guests must adhere to the cancellation policy that was in effect at the time of booking. This policy details the criteria for cancellation and any associated charges.
  • Guests wishing to cancel must reach out to Bhraman Yatra directly, providing their desire to cancel along with their booking reference and pertinent personal details like name and contact information.
  • Upon receiving the cancellation request, Bhraman Yatra will assess and inform the guest about the feasibility of the cancellation and any related costs. Should a refund be applicable, Bhraman Yatra will process it in accordance with their refund procedures.
  • It's crucial for guests to review the specific cancellation policy of their Bhraman Yatra booking in advance, as terms may differ based on the booking specifics. Understanding the cancellation policy is essential for knowing the guest's rights and responsibilities upon booking.

Detail Claims & Refund Policy

  • Refunds arising from any changes or cancellations in a Bhraman Yatra tour will be issued to the customer via an A/C payee cheque in Indian rupees, adhering to the current exchange rate set by the Reserve Bank of India. This applies regardless of whether the original tour payments were partially or entirely in a foreign currency.
  • Bhraman Yatra will not issue refunds for any services within the package that the customer does not use, including transportation, sightseeing, meals, or any adjustments made by the customer voluntarily.
  • Should there be any dissatisfaction with the quality of services such as accommodation, food, or transportation provided, it is the customer's responsibility to address these concerns directly with the service provider, without involving Bhraman Yatra.
  • Guests are responsible for settling any additional charges incurred at the accommodation for services like laundry, phone use, minibar, and food and beverages, directly with the accommodation.
  • In the event of changes to the itinerary post-departure due to circumstances beyond Bhraman Yatra's control, the agency will endeavor to arrange equivalent services. The customer will bear any extra costs incurred, while any savings will be reimbursed by Bhraman Yatra.
  • Refund requests related to accommodations are processed according to the accommodation's refund policies. A refund to the customer from Bhraman Yatra is contingent upon the recovery of funds from the accommodation.
  • Refunds will not be issued for disruptions caused by power outages at the accommodation, affecting amenities such as air conditioning and lighting.
  • Customers unable to use the booked services due to personal health issues or unforeseen personal events will not be eligible for refunds.
  • No compensation will be provided if service delivery is hindered by adverse weather conditions or natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, or riots, affecting the tour's start or endpoint.
  • Altering travel dates after confirmation or booking is considered a cancellation, and no refund will be provided, treating the situation as a "no show."
